Lionhead Moto started because finding good gear for Singapore roads shouldn't be this hard. Every helmet we carry is PSB-approved, personally vetted, and chosen by someone who actually rides.

Jian Hao has been riding since before Lionhead Moto existed. The kind of riding that takes you out of Singapore entirely, up through Malaysia, across to Thailand, all the way to the northern border. That's not a weekend hobby. That's a lifestyle.

Lionhead Moto started in 2019, quietly, from home. No shopfront, no staff. Just a guy with a strong opinion on helmets and a growing group of riders who trusted his recommendations. The early days were exactly what you'd imagine, packing orders on the living room floor, answering WhatsApp messages at midnight, figuring it out as he went.

The rides taught him something important: gear matters differently in this part of the world. Helmets designed for European winters don't ventilate the way you need them to on the PIE at 8am. Singapore riders needed gear built for Singapore conditions, and someone who understood that from experience.

We are an ecommerce business that sells helmets and other products to a wide range of motorcyclists, while providing affordable learner packages to new riders looking to buy their first helmets and riding gear.

Jian Hao, Founder

From home to Hillview

As orders grew, a storage unit became the first real base, a place where customers could self-collect, try gear on before buying, and have an actual conversation instead of just a transaction. That human side of things was always the point.

Eventually, the shop found its home at Hillview Terrace. A proper space. Helmets on the wall. Room to fit someone properly, explain the difference between ECE 22.06 and PSB, and send them off feeling confident about what's on their head.

The regulars are a mix of 2B learners picking their first lid, dispatch riders who ride 8 hours a day, weekend tourers planning the next JB trip. They all end up here because someone they trust told them to come.

Off the bike, Jian Hao is exactly who you'd expect. The kind of person who stops at a cat cafe on a solo ride and ends up spending two hours there. Genuinely easy to talk to. Which is exactly the energy you get when you walk into the shop, or drop him a WhatsApp at 11pm asking which helmet fits a narrow oval head.

That's what Lionhead Moto is, really. Not just a helmet shop. A place run by someone who rides the same roads you do, cares about the same things you do, and happens to know a lot about what goes on your head when you do it.

Walk in at Hillview. Ask anything. He doesn't bite, and neither do the cats.
